The company has been operating in the market since 1994 (formerly called LICA s. r. o.) as a supplier of proper technology for cable television operators.

Apart from technology deliveries the following services are currently offered:

  • Systems studies and  design , delivery of appropriate technology, putting the systems in operation, trainings and full service in the field of  Internet implementation in cable television networks.
  • Complete design of digital television transmission both in the array of co-axial distribution systems and IP networks.
  • Set-top-box deliveries for cable TV operators including the signal scrambling at the headend  output applying the NAGRA system.
  • Set-top-box deliveries for IPTV network operators and design of their main headends.
  • Development of own monitoring and managing cable TV applications
  • Logistical services

LICA CZECH s.r.o. is Czech company with long tradition and professional experiences and within years, LICA CZECH s.r.o. has became CISCO certified partner, exclusive Czech distributor of BELDEN cables, exclusive Czech supplier of DVB-C set top boxes KAON, exclusive representative of AMINO (producer of IPTV set top boxes) for Europe, operator and partner of NAGRA scrambling system, exclusive supplier of DVB-C CA modules SMiT, Czech distributor of COMMSCOPE technology and Harmonic CableOS technology, Czech and Slovak distributor of TECHNETIX components for CATV companies and regional partner of TELESTE company within the frame of DVB technologies and optical solutions.

LICA CZECH  has been always focused on delivering high-level quality of services and technologies to any of its customers. This quality has been confirmed by international ISO certification, as LICA CZECH has been awarded in recognition of the organization’s Quality Management System which complies with ISO 9001:2015.  LICA CZECH has been awarded to companies showing a commitment to quality standards and a willingness to work towards improving efficiency.

The scope of activities covered by this certificate includes Planning, Design, Development, Delivery, Sales and Service of Communication and Information Technology, Services and Complex Customer Solutions, including System Integration Services, Installation and Operation of Public Communication Networks and Measurement of their Parameters.

Mr. Peter Link

Ing. Peter Link is currently CEO and owner of company LICA CZECH s. r. o. He has established his company in 1994, at that time as technology supplier for Cable TV operators. During 23 year of LICA existence it has become an integrator for DVB and IPTV networks for both TV and data transmissions. Peter Link´s company activity covers not only design and delivery of the technology, but also integration into existing network environment as well as support. LICA has built first digital DVB-C headend in the Czech republic, become a supplier for largest accounts for instance UPC Czech republic and as service company provides  hosted system from Nagra as well as refurbishment of the modems and Set Top Boxes. Currently he has brought from China miniCMTS products, which LICA sell in the market.

Before establishing LICA CZECH s. r. o., Ing.Peter Link was educated as specialist in fiber optic, particularly fiber optic cables and its performance. After his training in Netherlands (Belden) he was working in company Dattel as a sale and marketing director for 3 years.
